After completing his 22nd season in the league, LeBron James is not sure if he’ll play next year. During the post-game press conference following the Minnesota Timberwolves’ victory over his Angeles Lakers (103-96), a reporter asked James if he was going to play next season. “I don’t know. I don’t have an answer to that,” James explained. “Something I’ll sit down with my family, my wife, and my support group, and kind of just talk through it and see what happens.” “And just have a conversation with myself on how long I want to continue to play. I don’t know the answer to that right now, to be honest. So we’ll see,” he added. When asked about what pieces the Lakers need next to be successful, James decided not to answer the question, noting that Anthony Davis was traded for Luka Dončić after the team for a center. “No comment. I never say that, my guy AD said what he needed and then he was gone the following week,” James said. “I got no comment. I put that uniform on, gave everything I had.” James also lauded his head coach, JJ Reddic, who is in his first year leading the team. “It’s already hard to be a coach in the NBA, and it’s a hell of a lot harder being a rookie head coach,” James said. “I thought he handled it extremely well. He held us accountable, he pushed us. “That’s one thing for sure, he’s a great coach.” Before exiting the presser, James spoke about how it was to watch his son, Bronny, develop as a player. “Just to see his growth from the moment he was drafted when we were all in New York at the draft party to seeing him in summer league struggle early on … and pick it up towards the end,” James said. “I just saw he has a bright future because not only can he play the game of basketball, he’s just a great [expletive] kid. And you can ask anybody, any one of his teammates, any one of the coaches,” he continued. “Just a joy to be around, and I have to say that I have a lot to do with that.’’
‘Sinners’ Returning To IMAX Theaters For One More Week
Due to popular demand, Ryan Coogler’s Sinners is returning to IMAX theaters for an additional week. Per a recent announcement, tickets for the film are currently on sale for the “limited screenings, which will take place from May 15-21 across nine IMAX 70mm theaters nationwide.” According to Warner Bros., due to the “overwhelming popular and critical response” to the film was “the catalyst behind the re-release.” Jeff Goldstein, Warner Bros. Pictures’ president of global distribution, confirmed the demand and rerelease in an official statement. “Audiences have spoken, and we listened. If ever a film needed to be experienced in this incredible, larger-than-life format, it’s Sinners,” Goldstein’s statement read. “Ryan has delivered a film that has been embraced by fans who appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into creating a film for this screen-filling format, and we wanted to give everyone the opportunity to see it — or see it again — in 70mm IMAX.” Already regarded as a cinematic classic, Sinners debuted at No. 1 at the box office, and it became the biggest debut for an original film since 2019. According to Variety, the film has grossed $122.5 million domestically and $161.6 million worldwide so far. A financial success, Sinners was made on a $90 million production budget, and 20% of the film’s revenue came from IMAX viewers on its opening weekend. Set in the 1930s, the film centers on twin brothers Smoke and Stack (both portrayed by Michael B. Jordan) trying to leave their troubled past behind and return home to Mississippi, “only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back,” per the film’s synopsis. Alongside Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Delroy Lindo, Jayme Lawson, Omar Benson Miller, and Wunmi Mosaku also star in the film’s cast. One of the striking elements of the film is its use of music, namely the blues. The film is a study in the blues,” Coogler told The Philadelphia Inquirer. “I feel that this is America’s most significant contribution to world popular culture. It all started right there in Mississippi. When you delve deeper into it, you’ll discover a lot of spiritual and supernatural elements.” “The musicians are playing songs about enduring demon torment and making agreements with malevolent deities,” he continued. I also learned that church members judged the relationship, which was fascinating. Many of the most significant musicians emerged from the church.”
T.I. Defends Tiny During Live Show
T.I. is once again showing the world he doesn’t play when it comes to protecting his wife, Tiny. During a recent performance, the Atlanta rapper stopped everything mid-show after a situation involving Tiny unfolded in the crowd to defend her. Though the exact details remain unclear, T.I.’s reaction made it obvious he wasn’t going to tolerate any disrespect. In a clip shared by The Neighborhood Talk, T.I. is seen jumping off the stage to confront someone in the audience over what happened with Tiny. After the confrontation, he issued a clear warning to the crowd: “Leave her alone,” he said. “I’ll flip the table.” Fans on social media praised T.I. for standing up for his wife. “Y’all know this man don’t play about Tiny!!! Please find someone else to mess with,” one person commented. Another added, “I knew he didn’t play about her when he ran up on Floyd,” referencing a past incident involving boxer Floyd Mayweather. Several fans also pointed out that their son King was quick to defend his mother as well. This isn’t the first time T.I. has gone all out for Tiny. On Valentine’s Day, he stepped out in a poncho with her face on it. Tiny posted the look on Instagram, writing, “My man don’t miss a moment to let me know I’m over loved & adored… he out did himself with this poncho out in them Atlanta streets representing his lady & ofc as u can see he’s really full of himself too!! @tip I love my King.” The couple also recently scored a legal win. In March, a judge dismissed Sabrina Peterson’s defamation lawsuit against them, citing her failure to move the case forward. Between personal loyalty and legal victories, T.I. and Tiny remain a tight unit.
A$AP Rocky Says He ‘Steals’ Items From Rihanna’s Wardrobe
A$AP Rocky has admitted that he “steals” pieces from Rihanna’s wardrobe. Making an appearance on The Run-Through with Vogue podcast on Thursday, May 1, Rocky did not hesitate to reveal that he regularly swipes articles of clothing from “RiRi’s” wardrobe. “Man, pardon my language, I do what the f— I want… I want to represent, I want to be a catalyst for daring men. I don’t know who drew the line between femininity or just being feminine and masculinity, excuse me,” Rocky explained. “I don’t know who drew that line, but I don’t see any barriers for me.” “It’s not fair that, like, my girl can just go in my closet and can just take anything from it and wear it,” he continued. “That goes both ways. She has pieces she don’t know that I actually stole, you get what I’m saying?” A$AP even joked that “she does it to me all the time.” “Sometimes you can see her on an interview or see a paparazzi photo like, ‘Wait. There goes my Miu Miu f—— jacket! Like, what the f—? I was looking for that since 2021.’ You get what I’m saying? And its just like, ‘Okay.’ I gotchu, bet,” he added. When it comes to fashion, “there’s no barriers” for Rocky, and making bold choices with his fits is a part of his identity. “For me, I think like kilts, babushkas, all of that stuff, that’s what the Moors wore. If you know anything about the Moors, with the pearls and stuff like that. That’s literally what the Moors had on. For me, kilts, pearls, shirts on the head, these are all things that were meant to be like, emasculated and meant to look feminine. And they all started with African men wearing them. Another fact.”
Kanye Admits Copying Drake And Ends Feud
Kanye West is flipping the script when it comes to his complicated history with Drake. The two rap icons have spent years trading subliminals, taking public shots, and occasionally teaming up on tracks. But now, Ye is giving Drake his props and admitting that he’s taken inspiration from him, and even copied his style, more than once. During a livestream with Toronto rapper and Drake associate Top5, Kanye openly admitted to using flows made popular by the 6 God. “The thing about Drake’s music is he ain’t got shit where he copies what I do. I’ll have copied a Drake flow a lot of times. I got shit that once Drake took over the algorithm was copies of Drake,” he said. For an artist who’s often viewed as the trendsetter, this kind of acknowledgment is rare. But instead of fueling their longtime rivalry, Ye seems to be focused on unity. He’s also been vocal about his support for Drake in the rapper’s ongoing legal fight with Universal Music Group. In a video posted to X, Kanye expressed how meaningful the moment is for the music industry. “Yo, I’m so happy right now, you don’t understand. With this UMG, Drake, Kendrick situation, Super Bowl, Grammys, this s*** was driving me and you know where it should be driving me, but this is the biggest victory in music history right here,” he said. Kanye ended the video by pledging his full support to both Drake and Kendrick Lamar. “I’m never finna call Drake out of his name. I’m team Drake, 100 percent. And team Kendrick and team all of us. Kendrick needs to be going at UMG at this point.” This could mark a new chapter for Ye and potentially the end of one of hip-hop’s most high-profile feuds.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Calls Tyrese Haliburton’s Dad ‘Disrespectful’ After Incident On-Court
Giannis Antetokounmpo was highly critical of John Haliburton, Tyrese Haliburton’s father. Two-time MVP called him “disrespectful” after an on-court incident following the Milwaukee Bucks’ loss to the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday, April 29. Following the game, John Haliburton made his way onto the court and waved a flag with his son’s face in front of Antetokounmpo to taunt him. Antetokounmpo also said that John swore at him. Shortly thereafter, the two met face-to-face and shook hands before being separated. When asked about the interaction at the post-game press conference, Antetokounmpo shared his thoughts on the matter. “I believe in being humble in victory,” Antetokounmpo told reporters. “A lot of people out there that are like, no, when you win the game, you talk sh*t and it’s a green light for you to be disrespectful towards somebody else. I disagree.” At the moment I thought he was a fan,” Antetokounmpo said. “But then I realized it was Tyrese’s dad. I love Tyrese. I think he’s a great competitor. [But] it was his dad,” he continued. Coming in the floor and showing me his son, a towel with his face, [and saying], ‘This is what we do. This is what we F-ing do. This is what the F we do.’ I feel like that’s very, very disrespectful. Speaking about the incident, Tyreese Haliburton told reporters that he didn’t “agree” with his father’s actions. “Basketball is basketball, and let’s keep it on the court,” Tyreese said. “I think he just got excited, saw his son make a game winner, ran and came on the court, but we had a conversation.” Afterwards, John Haliburton offered an apology for his behavior. I sincerely apologize to Giannis, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Pacers organization for my actions following tonight’s game. This was not a good reflection on our sport or my son and I will not make that mistake again. — John Haliburton (@PapaHaliburton) April 30, 2025 “I sincerely apologize to Giannis, the Milwaukee Bucks, and the Pacers organization for my actions following tonight’s game,” posted an X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday morning. “This was not a good reflection on our sport, or my son and I will not make that mistake again.”
Latto Rocks Carmelo Anthony’s Syracuse Jersey To Introduces New Moniker “Big Daddy”
Latto brought Southern heat to upstate New York this past weekend, headlining Syracuse University’s Block Party 2025 with swagger and style. On Tuesday, she shared snapshots from her campus takeover, offering fans a glimpse of the bold aesthetic and energy she delivered at the student event. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Big mama (@latto) For the occasion, the Atlanta rapper swapped her “Big Mama” persona for “Big Daddy,” channeling early 2000s New York nostalgia in a look that turned heads. She wore a vintage Syracuse Carmelo Anthony jersey, oversized True Religion jean shorts, and classic Timberland boots—an homage to the gritty streetwear style that defined an era. Carmelo led Syracuse to a national title in 2003, and Latto’s outfit paid tribute to that legacy while asserting her dominance in her own lane. One image raised eyebrows as Latto posed in the men’s restroom, standing in front of a urinal as if she were using it. The photo sparked immediate online reactions. “Why you in the men’s washroom witcho John Cena shorts, babygirl?” joked one user on X. But as usual, Latto owned the moment with defiance and humor, reminding fans she bends rules with confidence. Her performance matched the bravado. According to The Daily Orange, she delivered a high-energy set of more than 15 songs, ranging from hits like “Georgia Peach” and “Blick Sum” to her fan-favorite “Sunday Service.” She even tailored her lyrics mid-show, switching “when I leave Atlanta” to “when I leave Syracuse” during “Brokey,” sending the crowd into a frenzy. In true Latto fashion, she didn’t leave without showing love. She handed one Syracuse student $1,000 and gifted Cornell freshman Kumba Cavazzini Diop a pair of Givenchy boots. The moment left Diop stunned. “One day, I was just a little girl screaming Latto songs in my living room,” she said. “She noticed me today.” Musically, Latto has kept a low profile this year. Her only major drop came in January, when she tapped Playboi Carti for the “Blick Sum” remix. But if her Syracuse takeover is any indication, she’s gearing up for a bigger run—and still knows how to command every room she enters.
